Playing with Mawmaw

Check me out in this video! I am playing with Mawmaw at her house and really laughing! This is the most at one time I have ever giggled! Me and Mommy came to visit with her family as we wait for Sophie (Aunt & Uncle Kory's little girl) to arrive. She was due to arrive yesterday, but is deciding to stay longer in Aunt Kori's tummy. I wish she would hurry up and come out and meet all of us!!!

My third NHL hockey game

Mommy and Daddy took me to my third Canes game this past Wednesday night. We played the Ottawa Senators and won 4-3. I had a lot of fun again! I even got to wear my new All Star jersey this time! Daddy has one just like me so he wore his too! I had lots of strangers tell me how cute I am! I LOVE getting so much attention!!!

My adventures today

Today me and Mommy had to run a few errands with one of them being the mall. While we were there we saw a celebrity - Mario Lopez! Mommy tried to get a picture of him, but the sun was really bright inside the mall so the pics are not great.

I was in a real talkative mood yesterday afternoon so Mommy took out the video camera. She only caught the end though. I usually do not give her much warning!

Weight Update

Mommy took me to the doctor at SAS yesterday to get my weight checked. Mommy and Daddy thought I was getting bigger because I was heavier to hold and they were right! I have finally reached double digits!!! I now weigh 10 lbs 9 oz - whoop whoop!!! I am getting so big!!! I am trying to wear the size 1 diapers, but they are still a little to big for me so I am stuck in the newborn size for now. It will not be long now though!

Happy Birthday Cole

Today is my cousin Cole's birthday. He turned 13 today! Wishing you a wonderful 13th birthday! I love you bunches!!! His sister Devyn (another cousin of mine) is in this picture with him.

More time outside

This is me in my jogging stroller with Mommy. Daddy is taking the picture. I look really small in it right now, but will grow into it soon I hope! Me and Mommy go for a walk almost every day in this stroller! I usually like riding in it, but I do sometimes cry. Sorry Mommy.

My Room

My room is FINALLY finished! Mommy ordered the wooden letters for my name back in December (the parents had to wait until I was born to name me). The company that makes them is from up North & the terrible winter backed all their orders up. So, on Sunday Daddy put them up on the wall & they look great! I really like it!!! Now everyone knows it's my room!!

My Summer Hat

With the warm weather over the weekend, Mommy and Daddy got excited and busted out my new summer hat for the pool and beach! I think I rocked it!!! What do you think?

Bath Time

I LOVE bath time and wanted you all to see how happy I get when it's time for my bath each night! I have to warn you though - this video is a little over 4 minutes so bare with me.

Outside

This afternoon me and Mommy were playing outside and Daddy surprised us and came home early! He joined us on our blanket and decided to take some pictures! It was so nice being outside - the weather is warming up and that cold winter is (hopefully) long gone now! Mommy says we will be out there A LOT!!! I can not wait!

Happy St. Patty's Day

So Mommy tells me that today is a holiday called St. Patrick's Day. Supposedly you are suppose to wear green on this day so that you do not get pinched. This explains why Mommy changed my clothes today twice and each time I wore green! Mommy has been calling me her lucky little leprechaun all day too!!! She says she scored gold with me! I love her (and Daddy too)! She took some pictures of me in both outfits and a video. I didn't smile much in the video, but I'm showing how active I am with my arms and legs!

I was only 1 month old in this picture.

This picture was taken today so I am 4 months old. As you can see I was not thrilled that Mommy put me back into my car seat again. I have grown quite a bit in the last few months!

4 Month Birthday

I turned 4 months old back on March 6th. Here are a few of my accomplishments and facts about me. A lot of the things I can do now I could do when I was 3 months old, but now I am just better at them.


At 4 months old I can:


*hold my head up really well without help
*lift my head up when I'm on my belly
*I smile ALL the time
*still trying to coo. I try all day long, but half the time no sounds come out of my mouth
*follow objects and people with my eyes
*grab objects and hold on tight (I have a strong hold)
*just beginning to reach for things
*drool ALL the time (Mommy has to keep a bib on me constantly)
*stick my entire hand or sometimes just a few fingers in my mouth
*drink 4-6 ounces from a bottle
*rub my eyes with my fists when I get tired
*sleep in my crib at night time for 5 hours
*I am starting to nap in my crib too
*still love bath time
*my hair is slowly growing in, but I have a big bald spot from rubbing my head back & forth
*my eyes are slowly changing color - they are gray now with a little green tint
*still wearing newborn size diapers
*beginning to wear 3 month size clothes (still a bit big on me though)
*I do not like tummy time yet (Mommy tries each day)

The immunizations I received at this appt and my 2 month appt were:
Hepatitis B, Polio, Pneumococcal Disease, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Rotavirus, Hib

Sleeping in my crib

Daddy took this picture of me the other night without me even knowing he did it. Apparently he wanted to show you all how well I am sleeping in my crib! I LOVE to sleep with my arms above my head like this! My crib is so comfortable and there is so much room to move around. I scoot just a little (but it seems like so much more) throughout the night and look forward to exploring the rest of my crib once I am able to scoot more or even roll over!

Mommy and Daddy pulled out one of my new toys over the weekend - my moose! This is one of Daddy's favorites! I may have to fight him to play with it. Here I am in my bouncy seat and Daddy is trying to make me laugh. I am not really sure quite yet what to think about this moose! It makes a sound that I have never heard before. I laugh a little, but not a whole bunch!

4 month check up

Mommy and Daddy took me to my 4 month doctor's appointment on Monday (March 7th). I have not decided if I like going to the doctor yet. I usually have to get undressed and weighed on the cold scale (I cry during this). Then the doctor comes in and talks with Mommy & Daddy for a bit then he pushes on my belly and listens to my heart (that thing he uses for this is cold too). I think we are all done after that, but nooooooo. Here comes the nurse with SHOTS! Ouch these things hurt!!! I am laying on the table just minding my own business when awwwwwwwww! I cry REALLY hard for just a few seconds (well sometimes a few minutes), but then I'm ok. This time I got 3 shots in my leg and drank one vaccine.

These next few pics are on our way home from the doctor's office. As you can see I'm all better and actually smiling and happy!
