Fun times at the Beach

Today me, Mommy and Daddy took our second trip to the beach during our week vacation down here.  We stayed about an hour which was much longer than the first time we went!  The ocean scares me a  little, but I love playing in the sand.  My most favorite thing to do is walk around in the sand caring my rakes with me!

Going Home

Today is our last day here at the beach.  Before leaving we took some pictures on the walkway that leads to the beach.  It was pretty windy so we didn't stay long.  Once we finished the pictures we immediately got in the car and started the LONG 3 hour drive home.  It was a fun week and I can not wait to go back again!

Lawnmower

I have been saying 'lawnmower' for several weeks now and LOVE standing at the bay window watching all the neighbors mow their yards. My all time favorite though is being outside while Daddy is using our lawnmower on the grass!  I like lawnmowers so much that Mommy bought me one as a surprise!!!  Thanks Mommy!  I LOVE it!!!!!

19 Months Old

Today I turned 19 months old!  I'm growing up so fast Mommy says!  I'm pretty excited to be inching closer and closer to becoming 2 years old!

My Fork

My new favorite thing to do at breakfast, lunch and dinner is to eat with my fork or as I call it my 'ort'.  I like using it so much that I tend to get upset if I do not have it.  I also can feed myself with a spoon, but I do not have a word for spoon yet.  As you will see here I LOVE ketchup and like to 'dunk' (which I say that too)!  Enjoy!

Hats

Mommy and Daddy have been trying to get me to wear hats more often.  This is one of Daddy's hats that I like putting on my head and taking off.  It's also super fun to put the hat on Mommy and Daddy's head too.  Did you know that I can say the word 'hat'!

Devyn

Devyn came home with Mommy after school today.  She chased me around the kitchen which was sooo funny!  After we played for a bit, we took a break and watched some Mickey (Meme) on TV.

Memorial Weekend

Me, Mommy and Daddy went to Morehead City/Atlantic Beach to celebrate the Memorial holiday weekend.  Grandma and Granddaddy have a place there and they allow us to visit.  Aunt Shannon, Holden, Aunt Trisha, Uncle Skip, Jarrett, and of course Grandma and Granddaddy all came too!  Holden and I had a blast playing together although my belly was upset and I had lots of dirty diapers - so I wasn't able to play in the pool which made me sad.  Mommy and Daddy did take me to the beach before my belly started to hurt.  I was actually afraid of the ocean!  It made loud noises and rushed towards me which I didn't like!  I told the ocean 'no no' and 'bye bye' as soon as I got close.

Finger Painting

I had my first experience with finger painting and LOVED it!  I finger painted pictures for Grandma and Mawmaw for Mother's Day.  During and after I painted their pictures, I painted myself too!  SUPER fun!!!
