Bike

Thanks to one of Mommy's friends from high school (Renna) we now have a bike seat for me to ride in.  Daddy attached it to his bike and today we went for our first family bike ride.  Check out my new bike helmet - it has cars on it!  

My Fourth Haircut

Today Mommy took me to get my fourth haircut.  My first haircut I didn't cry any, but the second and third time I cried the whole time!  I even had to sit in Mommy's lap to get it done because I didn't want to sit in the car.  Well, today I had a break through!  Mommy finally realized (I have been trying to tell her, but she didn't understand me) that I do not like the cape around my neck.  So, I sat in the fire engine car without a cape and I did great!!!  I also realized that I love Dum Dum suckers!

My first time on a trampoline

My next door neighbors, Davin and Dylan, have a trampoline.  Today I got to jump on it for the first time.  Mommy has tried to get me to jump on if before, but I didn't want any part of it.  Today I decided I was ready!  Yay for me!!!

Funny Stairs

Sophie came over to stay with Mawmaw while Uncle Kory and Aunt Kori went to the Wake Forest football game today.  This meant we got to play together all day!  We were both still in our pj's when Mommy let us climb up Mawmaw's stairs.  We have NEVER been on these stairs before so we thought this was so funny!  Enjoy these pictures and the video that follows!

Park

Me, Mommy, Mawmaw and Sophie went to a park near Mawmaw's house today.  We actually had a picnic lunch before we headed to the park which was pretty fun!  We had a great time swinging, sliding, running and climbing!  Yay!!!

Meeting Jennifer

One of Mommy's best friends from high school, Jennifer Tingle, flew down from Kansas City with her boyfriend for a visit.  Me and Mommy drove up to Mawmaw and Pawpaw's house to meet up with Jennifer.  It was a short visit, but I'm glad I got to meet her and Mommy was super happy to see her friend again!

My First App Game

I went to my first Appalachian State football game today!  Mawmaw and Pawpaw went with me, Mommy and Daddy.  We went to Tweetsie yesterday and the football game today = awesome weekend!  Once we were in Boone, we tailgated which meant me running around in a parking lot and playing with my App football!  So cool by the way!  We then walked over to the stadium for the game.  There were tons of people there, but I love people watching so I was good to go!  Once the football game started I quickly realized that we were not getting up and moving which meant I had to stay in the same place.  For those of you that know me I LOVE running and moving!  I am happy to tell you that I did GREAT sitting up in the bleachers!  My favorite part was listening to the band during half time.  I lapped hopped until I finally fell asleep in Daddy's lap.  Unfortunately App did not win the football game today, but we had a great time and look forward to going to many more games in the future!

Tweetsie Railroad

Me, Mommy, Daddy, Mawmaw and Pawpaw left from Mawmaw's house this morning and headed to the mountains. We were going to Tweetsie Railroad for the day and then down to Boone to visit Appalachian State which is where Mommy and Daddy both went to college.  It was a beautiful sunny day out and we made the best of it!  We got to ride on a chair lift, which by the way was my first time riding one and I didn't even get to wear skis. Once at the stop, I played on a playground, fed llamas, goats and deers.  I even got to ride a small train that went into a spooky, dark tunnel, but I didn't get scared!  We then headed back down the chair lift which I loved, but it made Mommy and Daddy nervous because there were no straps holding me in!  Once at the bottom, I rode my first ever Ferris Wheel with Mommy and Mawmaw!  It was super cool and went way high!  We then rode the merry-go-round which is always a favorite of mine!  After all this fun it was then time to board the big train - or as I call it 'choo choo'.  I was so excited to finally be on my first real train!  We had to wait about 10 minutes before it took off.  Once it started moving down the tracks I was fast asleep.  I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore even though I tried really hard!  I actually slept the entire train ride - even through all the gun fire and yelling with the Cowboys and Indians.  As the choo choo arrived back at the station, I woke up.  We then started to leave the park and head to Daniel Boone Inn to eat dinner...yum yum!!!  It was such an awesome day and I can not wait to go back to Tweetsie when I get bigger!  Thanks Mawmaw and Pawpaw for going with me!
